It’s the holiday season, and things are getting busy over here at Disney World!

With all the festive decor and holiday fun, it’s no wonder everyone is coming to celebrate the most wonderful time of the year here. But how bad are the crowds during this season? Let’s take a look at what they were like this week and find out!
Starting with Animal Kingdom, we saw plenty of crowd action at just the entrance alone. With the Merry Menagerie and all the amazing attractions to enjoy, we’re not too surprised at this busy start to our morning.

But making our way into the park, we headed into Pandora where was saw that Flight of Passage was at a jaw-dropping 150-minute wait!

Flight of Passage takes you on a flight through Pandora while boarding a banshee. This 3D simulator ride is the most popular attraction at Animal Kingdom, and you can expect long wait times daily. A 150-minute wait right at the start of the day really shows how busy the park can get during the holidays! We also spotted a 70-minute wait at Kilimanjaro Safaris. Everyone wants to say hello to the new lions!

Over at Magic Kingdom, the park is full of holiday cheer, as well as big crowds ready to enjoy them. And this can be seen even at the Transportation and Ticket Center, where the line for the Monorail to get to the park was extremely crowded!

It took us 36 minutes to get into the park this morning which is quite a long time, but once we made it in, we noticed that although there were crowds at the TTC, it seemed like a typical day for Magic Kingdom.

The most popular attractions at the park, Jungle Cruise and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, showcased a 70-minute wait, which although may seem long, is the usual wait time on a normal park day. So despite the rocky start to our morning, the rest of the day was nothing out of the ordinary when it came to Magic Kingdom.

The holidays are in full swing at Disney World so stay tuned with us as we give all the insight on crowds and wait times!
