Magic Kingdom is Disney World’s original park, and there is a lot to take in.

It’s often the most crowded and popular park, as well as has the most rides and attractions to experience. If you’re visiting Magic Kingdom for the first time and want to plan your trip like a pro, here are 3 things that Magic Kingdom experts do differently!
Use Attractions To Relax and Rest
There are a few attractions in Magic Kingdom that rarely have any waits and are long enough that you can take a nice long rest. Whether that means just resting your feet or taking a nap — either is doable!

The best attractions for this are the Hall of Presidents, Carousel of Progress, and Mickey’s PhilharMagic. The Hall of Presidents is the longest of the three, as well as the least crowded. All three of them will have AC blasting in the summertime, and plenty of seating for you to choose from.
Waiting Until The Evening For Fantasyland
Fantasyland is one of the most popular areas of the park thanks to its beloved classic rides like Peter Pan’s Flight and “it’s a small world.” It’s also where a lot of families go so their younger kids can enjoy the family-friendly rides, which is why you should wait to visit this part of the park until the evening.

Many families will choose to end their park day early, or get a good spot for the fireworks instead of continuing to wait in line, so you likely will experience lower wait times for some Fantasyland attractions in the evenings.
Using Lightning Lanes Strategically
Disney World stands by the statement that you can skip 2-3 lines a day using Disney Genie+, but we’ve proven over and over again that you can skip MANY more than that if you use it strategically.

This means that you don’t want to waste using Lightning Lanes on rides and attractions that usually have low waits like Mad Tea Party, Journey of The Little Mermaid, and Mickey’s PhilharMagic to name a few.
