We said goodbye to Splash Mountain in Disney World earlier this year, and now we’re keeping a close eye happening at that site — which is being turned into Tiana’s Bayou Adventure!
Today, things are looking a LOT different on the top of the ride!
Disney has shared lots of concept art for the new ride, and one feature that is gone from those drawings is the tall, twisted tree trunk at the top of the old Splash Mountain ride.
On our visit to Magic Kingdom this morning, we walked over to check out the progress, and that tree? well, it’s totally gone!
The new ride is slated to open sometime in 2024, but there’s no lack of progress on the construction already!
