Halloween is almost here and the holidays have already arrived!

That’s only some of the big Disney news we had to share with you this week, but we’ve also got some pretty big entertainment news to share, too. So in case you missed the biggest stories, here are the top five!
Holidays in Disney World
We’re already looking ahead to the holiday season in Disney World, especially now that the first decorations have arrived! Over in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, the iconic animal lanterns are now up.

Also, if you’re planning on being in Disney World on Christmas Eve, reservations are now open for restaurants — by the way, reservations are also now open for Christmas Day. Grab those while you can!
Also, Holiday Sleigh Rides will be returning to Disney World for the holiday season. These are horse-drawn carriage rides from the Tri-Circle-D Ranch Barn. Each ride costs $75 for 25 minutes and each carriage fits up to four adults or two adults and three small children.

If you plan on grabbing a Candlelight Processional Dining Package, the soon-to-be-reopened Akershus Royal Banquet Hall is now available to book for that!

New Food Coming To Disney World
Move over Halloween snacks because we’re about to say hello to some more fall food offerings that will soon be embracing the holiday season! We’re talking loads of pumpkin and apple flavors, Thanksgiving foods, and more! You can view the full list of new foods coming to the resort here.

The list also includes restaurants offering special Thanksgiving Day-only meals, so be sure to check it out.

Disney World Water Park Updates
We got word that Typhoon Lagoon would close on November 13th for a refurbishment. However, on that same day, Blizzard Beach will be reopening! Blizzard Beach will be sporting some new additions themed to Frozen!

Streaming News
So there was some HUGE streaming news this week. One of the world’s most popular (and long-running) sci-fi shows is headed to Disney+! Disney announced that new episodes of Doctor Who will be airing on the streaming subscription service in countries outside of the U.K. beginning in 2023.

We also got the first trailer for the Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special, which will officially bring Kevin Bacon into the Marvel Cinematic Universe — as himself! This one looks like so much fun. The special will premiere on Disney+ on November 25th.

Apple TV+ is increasing from $4.99 to $6.99. The Apple One bundle will increase from $14.95 to $16.95 per month on the individual plan.
