Blizzard Beach is one of two water parks at Disney World, and it was the only water park to open following the COVID-19 Disney World closures. In December, Disney announced that Blizzard Beach would be closing for refurbishment on January 1st.

Disney didn’t share how long the closure would last, but now, after a months-long closure, we finally have a reopening date for this water park!
Disney just announced that Blizzard Beach will reopen on November 13th, 2022!

Blizzard Beach is larger than Typhoon Lagoon, Disney’s other water park. Blizzard Beach is themed to be a melted ski resort, with water slides, a lazy river, a wave pool, and water playgrounds for kids. There’s a lot to do!

As Blizzard Beach reopens, Typhoon Lagoon will temporarily close for refurbishment.

Just in time for the cold weather and shorter days. Smart, Very Smart! Did they decide to make it a reservation park and raise the price too? Must have been Bob Cheap’ek planning!
