We know, we know — Halloween isn’t even here yet. But we’ve GOT to talk about the holidays in Disney World!
There is so much to do this year including go to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, check out the new Minnie ears, and go to the 2022 EPCOT Festival of the Holidays. At EPCOT, you’ll be able to watch the Candlelight Processional with various celebrity narrators, and now we’ve got an update in dining packages available for the event!
Recently, Disney announced which restaurants would be available for Candlelight Processional dining packages — including table service and quick service locations. But that was before Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in the Norway pavilion announced its reopening date!
Akershus is reopening on November 4th, which is a few weeks before the Festival of the Holidays start. So, Disney has added to restaurant to be an option for Candlelight Processional dining packages!
Akershus is a table service all-you-care-to-eat restaurant with the Disney princesses! It has been closed since the parks closed in 2020, but will be open soon. The restaurant accepts reservations, so you can book a reservation for this dining package.
Each dining package includes an appetizer, entree, and dessert, or (if applicable) 1 full buffet, plus a non-alcoholic beverage. The package also comes with 1 guaranteed seat per person for a Candlelight Processional performance that is held on that day.
Reservations are available to book now for these dining packages, so be sure to grab one if you want a table service restaurant! Some restaurants like Regal Eagle Smokehouse and Spice Road Table are ONLY available through same-day availability.
If you want to learn more about what is returning to the 2022 EPCOT Festival of the Holidays, check that out here! You can also see how many dates are already sold out for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party in Magic Kingdom.

Are you going to book a Candlelight Processional dining package? Why or why not? Let us know in the comments!
Have booked dining for the Candlelite Procession at Garden Grove for 4 of us. Like being able to know that we have a seat without waiting hours. I thought the choices for dining was limited. Years ago some to the hotels were included in the list (Ale and Compass). Didn’t mind paying so much for that.
