I love POFQ. I love the small size and their quick service isn’t bad either. I also love how there is only 1 bus stop. The past few years I’ve been “spoiled” staying at the Swan & Dolphin for a little bit more $ being able to walk to Epcot. The only downside with this resort is having to take buses everywhere with the exception of Disney Springs.
I loved staying at French Quarter so much that I will be staying there again soon. I loved the walk over to Riverside and the boat rides to Riverside and to Disney Springs. I recently stayed at Polynesian Village and I actually like the rooms better at French Quarter. I am able to visit at the less busy times of the year so I have never found the bus transportation to be a problem. If you like to be in the parks from rope drop to park close then this probably wouldn’t be the place for you. I probably also wouldn’t stay here with younger kids. But, if you enjoy spending some time taking it easy at the resort, I think this is a great place.
