If you’ve been keeping up with Disney Cruise Line, then you’ve probably heard about the Disney Wish!
This is Disney’s newest cruise ship that will have its maiden voyage next year! We’ve learned a lot about this ship recently including the new restaurants, an obstacle course, Star Wars experiences, and so much more. If you’re into Disney entertainment, then you’ll want to know about the latest Disney Wish update!
Today at the Destination D23 event in Disney World, we learned more about the entertainment on the Disney Wish cruise ship. We already knew that Disney’s Aladdin: A Musical Spectacular was coming to the ship…
…but Disney also announced that TWO brand new musicals would come to the Wish! The first is Seas the Adventure which is an original musical!
The show features Captain Minnie with some special appearances by Tinker Bell and characters from The Princess and the Frog, Frozen, Finding Nemo, Moana, and more! During the show, they will “help Goofy discover the power of imagination.” How cool!
The second show is super exciting for Disney Princess fans — it’s a NEW theatrical adaptation of The Little Mermaid!
The show will feature a reimagined script and score, as well as a different take on the original story. It will be a modern day retelling about the “journey of a young woman learning to value the power of her own voice.”

There will be unique puppetry like this little guy here!
The curtain will rise on an enchanted treasure chest that is “discovered by a young woman who can unlock magic with her voice.” There will be new arrangements of Part of Your World, Poor Unfortunate Should, and Under the Sea — one of which we got a preview of today!
