We’ve received a ton of information recently about the newest ship to join the Disney Cruise Line fleet, the Disney Wish.

The ship will be home to Disney’s first attraction-at-sea, plenty of creatively-themed restaurants, and staterooms with luxurious features. Today, Disney shared more specifics on the staterooms themselves, and we’re excited to discuss those details!
The rooms on the Disney Wish are inspired by classic fairytales, and you’ll notice those touches throughout the various features, “from pixie-dusted furnishings to delicate linen embroidery inspired by the fleet’s signature golden filigree.”

The Disney Wish will be home to 1254 staterooms, and most of them will offer an ocean view. 70% of these rooms will have a spacious verandah — even some that are connecting so that the verandah can be opened up and shared between two rooms. Here are some more details Disney shared about the rooms:
- Many staterooms will feature a split-bathroom concept, and all of them will feature a bathtub.
- There are enhanced storage options, with roomy closets and elevated bed frames.
- “Little ones will delight in a secret starfield hidden above pull-down beds, with original artwork revealing a constellation of Fairy Godmother overhead.”
- There are several other amenities, including “a 43-inch TV, USB and USB-C ports, large vanity, mini drawer refrigerator, full-length mirror, mini-safe, hairdryer, privacy divider, queen and pull-out sofa beds, deluxe toiletries, plush robes, and lavish bed linens and duvets.”

If you’d like to take things up a notch, you can stay in one of the 76 concierge staterooms and suites. These rooms:
- accommodate up to 5 guests.
- have “spacious living areas, king beds, luxurious finishes, and premium amenities.”
- will be themed with a color palette and touches from the hit film Tangled.
- have a one-bedroom option with a separate living room, walk-in closets, two 43-inch TVs, and two bathrooms. The main bathroom will include a rain shower, bathtub, and double vanity.

There are also seven oceanview staterooms located above the bridge (the first of their kind for Disney Cruise Line). According to Disney, “these will have extended living areas with breathtaking views of the ocean through floor-to-ceiling windows that overlook the bow.”

Also, in addition to the Wish Tower Suite that was recently announced, the ship will have four royal suites themed to Sleeping Beauty. There will be two Princess Aurora Royal Suites and two Briar Rose Royal Suites. One of each pair will be a single-floor option and one will be a two-story design.

These suites will feature over-the-top theming with “upscale furnishings and first-class amenities.” There will be a large living area, an open dining salon, pantry, private hot tub, two bedrooms, and three bathrooms. And not only that, but “The two-story royal suites will boast floor-to-ceiling windows and stunning statement pieces, like an elegant spiral staircase and a spectacular two-deck-high bespoke stained-glass frieze.” This place sounds amazing!

All of the concierge suites will receive a “premium level of dedicated service” and access to exclusive amenities throughout the trip. There’s even a special Concierge Lounge made specifically for guests of these rooms. The lounge will offer a full bar, light bites, a special kids’ area, an outdoor terrace, a private sun deck, two whirlpools, and a wading pool.
