Forget the Sunscreen This Weekend? Disney World Has You Covered (for FREE)

A week ago at Disney World, we were practically swimming through a “Severe Storm Warning.” Today, it’s so sunny that we’re slathering on the SPF 50! What a difference a few days can make.

Fortunately for us (and for any park-goer hoping to protect themselves from that Florida sun), Disney World is handing out free sunscreen this weekend!

The Florida sun is definitely no joke. Now that we’re deep in the throes of spring and the weather keeps heating up, it’s getting increasingly important to come prepared — and that means sunscreen!

Don’t be the one who forgets sunscreen!

But in case you didn’t come prepared, don’t fret, ‘cause Disney has you covered this weekend.

Today in EPCOT, we noticed a Cast Member stationed in front of the American Gardens Theatre in World Showcase with a couple of bins filled with sunscreen packets. Best of all: they’re totally free!

Fittingly, they are SPF 50, because they don’t call it the Sunshine State for nothing.
