NEWS: Additional Skyliner Closures Expected in Disney World This Week

The Disney Skyliner is a great option for those traveling between EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and certain nearby resorts.

We recently shared that the Disney Skyliner route that goes to Disney’s Art of Animation and Pop Century Resorts would be closed for maintenance today, January 24th. Now, it seems that we can expect more Skyliner closures throughout the week!

According to the Disney Food Blog, the Skyliner will be down for two more days this week. These closures will affect the lines that travel to EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Disney Food Blog shared a photo from a guest who noticed a sign in Disney World sharing the most recent updates to the Skyliner’s availability.

On January 26th, the Hollywood Studios line will be unavailable. On January 28th, the Skyliner that goes to EPCOT’s International Gateway will be unavailable.

Disney is recommending that guests use the provided Disney Buses or FriendShip Boats while the Skyliner undergoes maintenance.
