REVIEW: On A Scale of 1 to 10, We’d Rate This New Disney Cafe An 11

In case you missed it, we’ve been on board the newest ship in Disney Cruise Line’s fleet, the Disney Adventure…and it has truly been a HUGE adventure.

We’ve been on RIDES on this cruise ship, we’ve eaten at some great restaurants, and we’ve had a chance to explore a lot of the ship. Well, now, we’re taking you with us to have a coffee at a very cool cafe themed to Big Hero 6. 

Welcome to Alley Cat Cafe, a cafe inspired by Aunt Cass’ bakery and cafe in Big Hero 6. It’s a tiny little walk-up spot on San Fransokyo Street. Here you can enjoy some fun popcorn flavors, light bites, sodas, and, of course, coffee drinks. Before you order something, though, be sure to look around for Big Hero 6 references, like some of Aunt Cass’ family photos. The whole cafe is so adorable. We loved it.

Like we said, you can get popcorn here, too, and yes, there’s a special popcorn bucket and Baymax sipper available, along with some other collectibles.

The menu here features some unique takes on espress-based drinks, as well as mocktails and cocktails, all themed to Big Hero 6. Beer, wine, and Zero-Proof drinks are also available.

We decided to get the Alley Cat’s Meow, made with Espresso, Condensed Milk, Vanilla, Yuzu, and Oat Milk. We loved that this wasn’t an overly sweet coffee drink, but it still had a light sweetness and flavor, thanks to the condensed milk and vanilla.

The yuzu added a lovely touch of acidity and really balanced everything out.
