BREAKING: Frozen Ever After Reopening Date Announced for EPCOT!

After patiently waiting for what feels like forever, one of our favorite EPCOT attractions is finally reopening!

Frozen Ever After

Frozen Ever After has been closed since January 26th, 2026, to make some major updates to the popular ride. Now, we finally know when you can go see Anna and Elsa again! We have all of the details right here.

Frozen Ever After is finally reopening on February 12th! That’s right, we can go back into Arendelle very soon, and while we’re there, we’ll even spot some brand-new audio animatronics in the ride.

The popular boat ride closed back in January to make way for new animatronics on the attraction to more closely match the Hong Kong Disneyland version. EPCOT’s version of the ride opened in 2016, and at the time, these were the most advanced audio animatronics we had seen! They used facial projections to make the characters’ movements more fluid and lifelike.

While we did love it, we will admit the faces didn’t age well over time, and the projections made them look almost separate from the rest of the animatronic. Once Disney debuted the new version of the animatronics in Hong Kong and again in Tokyo DisneySea, fans started wondering if EPCOT would ever get those new faces. They finally confirmed in 2025 that YES, those updates were coming.

The Frozen attraction is showing hours for February 12th, even though the closure notice has not been updated yet. This is subject to change, but we’ll be keeping a close eye on it!

We are super excited for the changes coming to the attraction and the fact that we don’t have to be without our favorite sisters for too long. Be sure to keep following AllEars for more Disney news, updates, and more from the people in the parks daily.
