A Popular EPCOT Ride Will Be CLOSED on 4 Days Next Week

Disney World is going through some big growing pains right now! There are construction walls are far as the eye can see, rides are being refurbished, and new attractions are on the horizon.

Growing up can be hard! It might mean some awkward phases, and Disney is definitely in its awkward phase. It won’t last forever, but it is going to get a bit worse before it gets better. That’s why we’re here to remind you that a popular ride is closing temporarily in EPCOT very soon!

If you’re headed to EPCOT soon, you might be caught off guard when a popular ride is closed. Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure is closing temporarily starting on November 10th, 2025, for some big changes!

Disney is removing the 3D aspects of the attraction, but it luckily won’t be closed for long. The ride will reopen on November 14th, 2025, with “enhanced digital visuals and clearer imagery projected in 2D.” The now 2D ride will also have new props and lighting enhancements!

After the closure has ended, Disney has shared that new additions will be added to the ride’s queue and the overall attraction over the next several months, although they didn’t share what they would be. This ride is a seriously popular one, so don’t be surprised if wait times get wonky over the 4 days it’s closed!

This isn’t the only version of the attraction that’s changing! Recently, Disney announced the same changes would be coming to the same attraction in Disneyland Paris (where the ride originated). In Paris, the ride will transform into a 2D experience, and they’re adding a new scene in the queue that will feature a Parisian artist’s studio, complete with details and accessories like canvases, paint splatters, and a fruit basket. The new scene looks very similar to the one already located in Disney World, but it does have us wondering if our queue will be updated to look closer to the Paris version.

The last day to ride the attraction with 3D will be November 9th, 2025. For many guests, the combination of the 3D elements and the food scents was nauseating, so we understand the reason for the change. Don’t be caught unprepared for Disney ride closures, especially as things continue to change over the next few years. As always, be sure to keep following AllEars for more Disney news and updates.
