REVIEW: Attention, Corn Dog Lovers! Go HERE for a Guaranteed Disney Snack Success

Whenever we’re craving a snack, we love to head over to Downtown Disney!

It may not be as big as Disney Springs over at Disney World, but Disneyland’s Downtown Disney District sure has tons of great options when it comes to food and beverages. We recently picked something up to eat and had to share our thoughts with you!

A place we often visit at Downtown Disney is Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs. If you’re a fan of corn dogs, we definitely recommend this place to you. It’s a small kiosk stand, but they often release new and unique limited-time specialty corn dogs.

We recently went to try the Buffalo Chicken & Cheese Dog for $15.50, which also comes with a bag of Lays original chips. It has alternating chicken and mozzarella on a skewer, dipped in cornmeal batter. Then, it’s fried and topped with buffalo sauce, red, and green onions. YUM! This is a limited time dog, but there is no end date as of now.

Let’s just start by saying, this was such an interesting corn dog! We were so excited to try this, because to be honest, anything with buffalo chicken is at least worth a try!

Here’s what we got!

Everything came together very well; it just worked! The cheese was ooey and gooey (and you know we’re big cheese lovers here), the buffalo sauce had the right amount of kick to it, the veggies were cold and crispy, and the chicken was well seasoned.

Let’s take a bite!

If we had to be super picky about anything, we would note that the chicken had a boiled texture to it. So the chicken by itself threw us off a little bit, but if you eat it with everything in one bite, it really isn’t noticeable. The flavors and textures of everything together definitely hit.

This was great!

Overall, we loved this corn dog — we’d give it a solid 4/5. The only reason it missed the 5/5 mark is because of the chicken, but honestly, we would probably get it again! If you like buffalo chicken and cheese, you’d like this.
