Disney Announces Lightning Lane Multi Pass Is CHANGING at Hollywood Studios Next Week

Changes are coming SOON to Lightning Lane Multi Pass at Disney World!

The Little Mermaid — A Musical Adventure

Beginning August 20th, 2025, guests will be able to select “The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure” as a Lightning Lane Multi Pass selection. We have been expecting a Lightning Lane option for the new Disney’s Hollywood Studios show since it opened, and now we officially know when it will be available as a selection.

“The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure” will be available to select as a second tier beginning on August 20th, for use starting September 11th. This tier also includes Alien Swirling Saucers, Beauty and the Beast Live on Stage, Star Tours – The Adventures Continue, Tower of Terror, and more.

When you purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass, you can reserve up to 3 attractions in advance of your visit. You can choose up to 1 from the first tier of attractions, and 2 — or all 3 — attractions from the second tier. The first tier attractions in Hollywood Studios are: Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, Millenium Falcon: Smugglers Run, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, and Slinky Dog Dash. Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance is available through the Lightning Lane Single Pass.

Lightning Lane Multi Pass allows you to reserve time slots for up to 3 attractions before you visit, and you can continue to make additional selections once you use a Lightning Lane selection.

Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster

With Lightning Lane Single Pass you are purchasing an a la carte pass to experience one attraction via the Lightning Lane. Single Pass includes the most popular attractions, and they are not available to book on Lightning Lane Multi Pass.

If you are willing to splurge a bit, you can also purchase Lightning Lane Premier Pass. Lightning Lane Premier Pass allows guests one-time access to each Lightning Lane entrance at attractions in a single theme park per day, with the flexibility to use it at any time—no need to reserve a time slot in advance.
