Another day, another project gets checked off the list. This time, we’re in Liberty Square for the long-awaited reopening of a classic attraction. Yes, multiple construction projects and refurbishments are going on in Disney World right now, but Magic Kingdom can finally welcome back an old classic.

Currently, Magic Kingdom has a lot going on. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is under construction, Villains Land is underway behind Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin will undergo a refurbishment beginning in August, and Tom Sawyer Island and the Liberty Square Riverboat will soon be replaced by the new Piston Peak land. However, we’ve been waiting to see if one closed attraction would finally reopen, and it looks like today was that day!
The Hall of Presidents has been closed in Liberty Square since January, after the most recent presidential inauguration. This is typically what happens following an inauguration — the ride will close for a few months as Imagineers work to highlight the most recent president, and move the former animatronic elsewhere in the attraction (since all the presidents are represented on stage).

Well, the wait is over! This attraction now has showtimes available once again! Disney quietly reopened the attraction today, and it’s now open once again for guests to enjoy.

A few weeks ago, the lobby of this attraction reopened, but the actual show remained closed. Now, both have reopened! Former President Joe Biden has now been moved to a different area of the stage, and now the show features a recorded performance of the oath of office by President Donald Trump, making it the same version of the show seen a little over four years ago during Trump’s first term.

This show can be a great way to see some historical animatronics in action, and if you’re looking for some great AC, we recommend making a stop in (plus, if you’re looking to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the park, any indoor show is a great bet, including this one). You can also hang out in the lobby for some great air conditioning and seating to rest and check out the historical exhibits.

What’s your favorite show at Disney World? Tell us in the comments!
I don’t know since I haven’t had a chance to go to Disney world since park tickets are expensive. However I’ve been to Disneyland many times and my favorite show would have to be the Aladdin Broadway play and former Muppet 3d vision, Disney Mickey mouse water shows, Maybe in the future my brother will take me to Disney world. I’m still waiting for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure ride to be updated with more animatronic characters spoonbill birds, lady butterflies, showboat, little bluebird, Dr facilier, Lawrence, Oswald the lucky rabbit, spooky masks dolls spirits etc, play friends on the other side at dropoff and pay respect for the 1927 Mississippi river flood victims in a memorial plaque. As a matter of fact I want Disney world and Disneyland imagineers to change Tiana’s Bayou Adventure to Dr facilier magic show based on the princess and the frog film for Halloween season like they do with the nightmare before Christmas at haunted mansion ride and get us excited for villains land.
