It’s Official! A HUGE Sign Has Been Installed for a NEW Hollywood Studios Attraction

There are so many new things coming to Disney World!

Over in Hollywood Studios, the Muppets are packing their bags and the Villains are getting ready to move in. Also headed to this park is Ariel, the Little Mermaid herself! Now, Ariel and her show have made one major change overnight.

Hollywood Studios has a mermaid swimming in soon! The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure is set to debut on May 27th, 2025, and one major change is showing us just how close we are to the curtains coming up. Over on X, Disney Parks shared that the marquee for the new show is finally up! 

The marquee shows the famous silhouette of Ariel with a sunset behind her and the words “The Little Mermaid” below. “A Musical Adventure” is written below on a scroll with pearls, seashells, and more!

The new show is a revamped version of the previous show that was in the same theater, called Voyage of the Little Mermaid. The new show features songs like “Kiss the Girl” that weren’t in the previous version.

Prince Eric will also have a larger role in this version, plus we’ve even gotten a glimpse at the new and improved puppets coming to the show!

We also know that the show times will be between 9:15 AM and 7:15 PM when it premieres on the 27th! This show premieres the same day as the new Disney Villains Show: Unfairly Ever After.

The Disney Villains show is replacing the Lightning McQueen Racing Academy behind Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster. We are super excited to see both of these shows come to life, and we love seeing these little moments appear as we get closer and closer to the opening date.
