NEWS: Timeline CONFIRMED for Second Phase of DinoLand Closures in Disney World

Well, it’s official. We have the closing timeline for the rest of DinoLand U.S.A.

DinoLand

We know what you’re thinking. Didn’t we already know DinoLand U.S.A. was closing because half of it is already closed? Yep, but we just found out when the rest of the land will be closing, too.

Restaurantosaurus, Dino-Bite Snacks, DINOSAUR, and the Boneyard will remain open for all of 2025 but will close in 2026.

TriceraTop Spin, Fossil Fun Games, and Chester & Hester’s Dinosaur Treasures closed in January 2025. While we’re still missing listening to “Party in the USA” on a flying dinosaur, we’re glad we’ll be able to catch the iguanodon a few more times.

We’re sad that one of our favorite areas of Animal Kingdom is closing, but we’re excited to see what’s coming! DinoLand U.S.A. is turning into Pueblo Esperanza, a Tropical Americas-themed land!

From a new Indiana Jones ride (yes, different from the Disneyland version!) to a whole Encanto section with an attraction and an animal-themed carousel, we can’t wait for this to open in (hopefully!!) 2027.

If you’re heading to Disney World in 2025, we highly recommend saying your final goodbyes to DinoLand U.S.A. Disney still hasn’t shared the exact closure dates but has made it clear that 2025 is the last time to see the dinosaurs before they go extinct.
