Welcome to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, the land of incredible…grilled cheese?
That’s right — we recently stopped by Woody’s Lunch Box to check on some of our favorite bites. Popular rides, entertaining characters, and delicious food — what can’t Toy Story Land do?!
Woody’s Lunch Box is one of our favorite quick service locations in the park and if you haven’t been there yet, you HAVE to check it out on your next trip. The menu is full of handhelds and the iconic Lunch Box Tart is a must for dessert!
On a busy day in Disney World, it’s nice to have some easy comfort food. For us, if it’s not the Totchos, it’s gotta be the Grilled Three-Cheese Sandwich. The sandwich melts together provolone, cheddar, and American cheese on grilled sourdough bread.
This meal comes with a side for $10.99. We opted for the Tomato-Basil Soup Dipper, but you can also pick Potato Barrels (A.K.A. tater tots) or a Cuties Mandarin. But in our opinion, the soup is a must with grilled cheese!
Every time we eat this, we’re reminded why we keep coming back to it. With the three cheeses, it feels like a grown-up grilled cheese. The flavors aren’t too outlandish (for example, there’s no goat cheese or brie in this sandwich!) so they appeal to picky eaters but it’s probably a step above the grilled cheese you’d make at home.
One of the best hacks here if you’re not super hungry or want to save room for more snacks is to buy the kid’s version. It’s only $6.99 and although it comes with half the sandwich, it includes TWO sides! That means you can have soup AND tater tots! Someone call Hannah Montana because she needs to sing “The Best of Both Worlds”.
It can also go the other way around. If your kiddo loves the kid’s meal version but has grown a bigger appetite, they can order the adult version for a few dollars more.
