What Disney World Looks Like When All Four Parks Are SOLD OUT

Today is quite an interesting day in Disney World. It may just seem like a random Monday in the parks, but don’t let that fool you.

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad Crowds!

‘Tis the season of temporary ride closures beginning all around Disney World, as well as one land that’s beginning to close permanently. That, paired with the fact that this upcoming weekend is the first runDisney event of the year, means that crowds in the parks are HIGH today. In fact, they’re so high that every park is sold out!

When we took a look at park pass reservations earlier this morning as the parks opened, we saw that all park pass reservations for those staying at select Disney World hotels were entirely sold out.

And for Annual Passholders, the parks are all sold out as well! So if you were hoping to pop in and say hello to your favorite park icon, that unfortunately won’t be happening today unless you were able to score a reservation already. Park passes are known for fluctuating in availability, however, we have not seen any park open up today.

So what does an entirely sold out resort look like? Well, we stepped into Magic Kingdom and EPCOT to take a look around, and crowds are high, but they aren’t in the top 10 busiest days we’ve experienced.

Despite this, some rides had lengthy queues. This was the line for Spaceship Earth — it went around, and around, and around multiple times.

Over in Magic Kingdom, the Haunted Mansion line was wayyyy far out, closer to the Liberty Square Riverboat.

In the late morning, “it’s a small world” was around a 45-minute wait, which wasn’t too wild, but we knew it was only going to get longer throughout the day.
