NEWS: A NEW Gideon's Bakehouse "Bakery Concept" Shop Is Coming SOON to Orlando!

Cookies are the perfect Christmas treat, and some of our favorites can be found at Gideon’s Bakehouse at Disney Springs!

This popular storefront serves up a variety of yummy cookies, and we just spotted some very exciting news about Gideon’s Bakehouse!

Gideon’s Bakehouse is expanding! The beloved store with locations at Disney Springs and East End Market is known for its delicious cookies, massive slices of cake, and cold brew. You will almost always find a line at the Disney Springs locations, and we are huge fans of their baked goods. Gideon’s Bakehouse is launching its very own food truck, but there is a catch!

For right now, the food truck will be open for only ONE day. That’s right, the Stuart & Bonnie’s Food Truck will be debuting this Sunday, December 22nd, and will only serve from noon until they sell out. After that, the truck likely won’t appear again until summer 2025, when it will start rolling around town. The truck will be at their East End Market location NOT the Disney Springs location.

To give you a bit of background on the name Stuart & Bonnie’s, both of these are characters created by Gideon’s Bakehouse. Stuart was the first character released with a cookie, and his tale is that “He ate so many oranges he turned into a boy with an orange head.” Bonnie’s tale is that she passed away and was buried in the family lemon orchard. The next day, her father saw her hand sticking out of the dirt and pulled her up with a lemon head.

Both of these characters represent a flavor, and together they star on the menu of Stuart & Bonnie’s Food Truck: lemon and orange. You will find that everything on the menu features lemon, orange, or both. The food truck will be serving up some citrusy desserts and beverages, including a Cuban Gelato Sandwich, Bonnie’s Shortbread, Stuart’s Cold Brew, and S&B Tea.

So, if you are hoping to try some of these lemon and orange treats, you will need to head over to East End Market this Sunday. You will probably want to be there early, as we have a feeling there will be a lot of people lining up. The food truck will be serving from noon until it sells out, and then it likely won’t reappear until the summer of next year.
