When planning a Disney World trip, one of the most important choices is which resort hotel to stay at. Disney offers Deluxe, Moderate, and Value Tier hotels, each offering their own perks for guests.

When it comes to booking one of Disney’s hotels, there are some non-negotiable upgrades we think are absolutely worth any additional cost, and we’re going to share them with you.
Preferred Room
If you’re staying at one of the value resorts or a large, spread-out resort like Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, there’s a good chance you could end up in a room that’s the furthest from the main entrance, lobby, and dining options. That means that your hike to and from your room to the bus stops might be long.

This is why we think a preferred room is worth it if you’re staying at one of these hotels, because it will make all the difference at the end of the day when you’re getting off the bus from a full day in the parks and still have to walk back to your room.
Two rooms for groups
If you have a large group, you might want to pay extra for two rooms, especially if you can get a good discount on those rooms. It’s way better than trying to cram multiple people into a small room (and some of those Disney rooms are pretty tiny).

You’ll appreciate having a little extra space, as will your traveling party.
Travel humidifier
Yes, Florida air can be humid, but at the same time, it can be dry in the rooms. A small portable humidifier can be a BIG game-changer and help you sleep comfortably while you’re in your hotel room.

We like this one because it’s small enough to stuff into a suitcase plus it’s also quiet.
Toilet Paper
Why do you need a toilet paper upgrade, you may ask? Well, if you’ve ever visited Disney World, you’ll know that the toilet paper is cheap, one-ply rough paper that is the absolute worst — and it’s the same in the value resorts as it is in the deluxe resorts. We always have Amazon send some nice Charmin Toilet Paper to our room.

Trust us, this is a must because Disney seriously skimps on the toilet paper quality.
MagicBand Charger
We love MagicBand+, but the downside is that you have to charge it to keep all the features working. We’re all for portable chargers, which is why we love this MagicBand MultiCharger.

This MultiCharger can charge up to four MagicBands — or any other devices — on the go or in your hotel room. It’s guaranteed to work with all phones and MagicBands.
