NEWS: Disney Announces EPCOT's NEW Spaceship Earth Lounge Opening Timeline

Earlier this year, Disney announced that a brand-new lounge was coming to EPCOT, themed to — and directly attached to — the park’s iconic Spaceship Earth attraction. At the time of the initial announcement, Disney said the lounge would be “inspired by the stories, shapes, and enduring legacy of this timeless icon.” Now, the company has released an opening timeline for the new location.

In early December 2024, Disney confirmed that the Spaceship Earth Lounge would be opening in the late spring of 2025.

According to the company’s updated description, the lounge will honor the intertwined history of Spaceship Earth and EPCOT itself” and “celebrate the legacy of the icon’s past while admiring its future.”

According to Disney, the lounge will feature “delicious culinary creations” that are fit for the setting. Furthermore, diners will be able to “take in breathtaking views of the park from an entirely new angle” where they can be “inspired by the stories and legacy of this iconic structure.”

The lounge will feature “sweeping views” of the park’s World Celebration Gardens as well as a unique perspective of the park’s nightly fireworks spectacular Luminous The Symphony of Us.

Disney has confirmed that the new Spaceship Earth Lounge, where diners will be able to “raise a toast to the enduring spirit of EPCOT”, is scheduled to open at the park in the late spring of 2025. Stay tuned to AllEars for more on this new dining experience.
