Disney Quietly Brings NEW Additions to a Mysterious Adventureland Construction Project

Don’t get us wrong, we’re looking forward to the two new lands coming to Magic Kingdom — Villains Land and the Cars-themed land — but there’s another smaller addition that we’re pretty stoked about.

There’s a Pirates Tavern lounge coming to Adventureland in 2025, and we couldn’t be more excited! While Disney hasn’t confirmed where exactly it’s going, we have a strong feeling we’re watching this tavern come to life behind some construction walls, and now there’s an update you should see!

See those beams stretching across the top of the ceiling? Okay, keep that in mind as you see these updated construction photos near the Pirates of the Caribbean ride in Magic Kingdom!

From afar, it may not seem like much is happening, but when you look closer, you can really see that the walls and ceiling behind the construction walls are making some pretty big progress.

And if you look REALLY closely, you might see similar-looking wooden beams seen in the concept art across the ceiling inside the construction area. Remember, Disney hasn’t confirmed what’s happening behind those construction walls, so we’re just speculating about its potential. We can’t WAIT to learn more about the Pirate Tavern — where’s our menu, Disney?!
