BREAKING: New Rooms Are Coming to TWO Disney World Hotels!

If you’re planning a trip to Disney World, you’ll definitely want to check out the refurbishment calendar before your visit.

Occasionally, rides will close down for general maintenance and touch-ups, and you’ll want to know before your trip. Other times, we see closures for things like pools or restaurants. But one of the most important refurbishments to know about is construction at the hotels!

Disney World just announced three new hotel refurbishments coming soon. And if you’re planning to stay at one of these resorts, you’ll need to plan ahead.

First of all, Disney’s Wilderness Lodge will have a major refurb at Copper Creek Villas & Cabins from mid-May 2025 to September 2025. All resort amenities will be available, but you may notice construction during the daytime. Cast Members were unsure if this refurb is for the rooms or resort area itself, so we’ll have to wait and see!

At Disney’s Port Orleans Resort — Riverside, guest rooms in the Magnolia Bend will be under refurbishment from early April 2025 through the end of January 2026. You may see or hear work in the area during the daytime.

Then, over at Disney’s Pop Century Resort, there will be construction on hotel rooms from late March 2025 to mid-February 2026. Like Wilderness Lodge, resort amenities will remain available, but you may see construction during daytime hours.
