6 EPCOT Stores I’ll Never Shop at Again

There are a LOT of gift shops in Disney World, but no theme park there has more than EPCOT does!

EPCOT

With gift shops in every World Showcase pavilion and spread throughout the front of the park, there are a multitude of opportunities to spend money at EPCOT. You can purchase everything from perfume to crystal to winter coats! But there are some EPCOT gift shops that we do NOT enjoy — here’s our list.

Art of Disney

Starting out in the American Adventure, we think we’ll probably skip Art of Disney on our vacations going forward. Don’t get us wrong, we love looking at stunning Disney artwork, and the artists here are incredibly talented, but there are several of these shops around Disney World to check out.

Art of Disney

You can shop artwork in multiple parks, resorts, and Disney Springs, so if you’re limited on time during your EPCOT day, you can save your gallery perusing for another time.

Perfume Shops

Okay please tell us we’re not the only ones that get INSTANT headaches when we step into perfume shops in EPCOT?! And unfortunately, there are SO many of them in World Showcase.

Perfume

Italy, Norway, France, and the UK all have these shops, and sometimes you can smell them before you even walk through the doors. Those scents are intense, you guys!

Kunstarbeit in Kristall

Over in the Germany Pavilion, you’ll find a little shop tucked in the back called Kunstarbeit in Kristall. Essentially, it’s a store where you can buy some of the most expensive Disney souvenirs you’ve ever seen!

Crystal Spaceship Earth

Want to spend $80K on a crystal model of Spaceship Earth? They’ve got you covered! Want glass figurines of all your favorite Disney characters for several hundred dollars each? They have that too! A sparkly tiara to wear around the parks? Well, that one is surprisingly affordable, actually. We don’t think we need to elaborate on why we don’t spend much time here — the budget just doesn’t allow it!

Souk-al-Magreb

So many World Showcase pavilions have these stunning, massive gift shops with unique souvenirs that represent their countries…and then there’s Morocco. The poor Morocco Pavilion has had a hard go of it since the pandemic, and currently its main gift shop is Souk-al-Magreb, which is a smidge disappointing.

Souk-al-Magreb

Souk-al-Magreb has a few Moroccan tchotchkes, but it’s mostly filled with Aladdin-inspired Princess Jasmine merchandise that you can find elsewhere around Disney World.

SeaBase Gift Shop

At the end of The Seas with Nemo and Friends, you’ll come out into the SeaBase, which is a fascinating pavilion filled with aquarium animals and cool exhibits. However, the gift shop here? Well, it’s not as cool.

SeaBase gift shop

The SeaBase gift shop is mostly home to strange aquarium souvenirs, Finding Nemo merchandise, and old pins. You probably won’t find anything here that you can’t purchase elsewhere, so save yourself some time and shop in other locations instead.

Mitsukoshi Department Store

And last but not least, we’ve got to mention the Mitsukoshi Department Store. It’s huge, amazing, and filled with TONS of unique souvenirs! So why won’t we set foot in here? Because it’s WAY too tempting to spend all of our money!

There’s SO many choices!

Seriously, Japan wins the gift shop lottery here with Mitsukoshi thanks to its Nintendo merch, many strange gifts, collection of swords, and of course, walls upon walls of delicious Japanese snacks. We could spend days in Mitsukoshi and that’s probably not good for our health.

That’s a wrap on our no-no list for EPCOT gift shops! Stay tuned to AllEars for more updates from Disney World.

    1. Hi Judi! Unfortunately, no. Sometimes you can find an item or two on DisneyStore.com, but it’s few and far between.
