Only Disney World Experts Know This Souvenir Secret in EPCOT’s World Showcase

Disney World souvenirs are SO hard to say no to.

You can find tons of cute and useful items around all of the parks. EPCOT has an even bigger selection of merchandise because of the World Showcase. Each country pavilion offers its own shops with authentic items right from that country. However, we have a little secret to share with you about a lot of these World Showcase souvenirs.

Since many of the items around World Showcase aren’t Disney specific, you can often find them outside of Disney World. That even includes on Amazon! So as cool as it is to say you got something from that country, you may be able to find it for way cheaper online than in the store in EPCOT.

We poked around the shops of World Showcase and spotted several items that we were able to find cheaper on Amazon, and we’re sharing them with you!

We’re starting off with this Squishy Dumplin’ from the China pavilion!

In Disney World, at House of Good Fortune, this soft dumpling toy will cost you $16.95. But we found it on Amazon for $7.88!

Next, also in the China pavilion, are these fun flavored Lay’s potato chips!

You can find all kinds of flavors depending on when you visit. But at House of Good Fortune, you’ll end up paying $5.50 for one bag. However, on Amazon you can get a pack of 8 for under $3 per bag!

The other item we spotted in the China pavilion was the LOL Surprise Water Balloon Surprise doll toy.

This small toy doll was $25.95 in the park! But you only have to pay a portion of that on Amazon at $9.97.

Next, we headed over to the Norway pavilion where we spotted this beautiful Helly Hansen Waterproof Jacket!

This jacket would be great to have in the parks if it’s raining, but you may want to buy it on Amazon before your vacation. In the park, it costs $175. But you can get it for $165 or less if it’s on sale on Amazon!

We also found this nice Helly Hansen baseball cap!

Now, this cap may be the one item that you COULD find cheaper in EPCOT. You’ll find this hat for $35 in the park and $40 regular price on Amazon. However, we noticed that it does go on sale for under $35 on Amazon, so you could totally score it for cheaper there than in EPCOT.

Next stop, the Germany pavilion where we stopped by Karamell Kuche for some Werther’s Original candies.

You can buy a bag of these candies for $4.99 or one snack credit (which we’re not so sure these are worth a snack credit anyway). But on Amazon, you can get a pack of 6 bags for $12.39. That’s approximately $2.00 per bag!

Then we headed to look at these amazing Swarovski crystal swans also at the Germany pavilion!

In EPCOT, the large Swarovski crystal swan costs $550 while the small one is $300. We were able to find the same large Swarovski crystal swan on Amazon for $387.97. That’s over $160 cheaper on Amazon!

Finally, we stopped by the American Adventure pavilion at Art of Disney where we found this cool book — The Walt Disney Film Archives.

This book discusses animated Disney movies from 1921 to 1968. It’s a timeless piece of Disney history, and it you can buy it for $30 in EPCOT. When the book is not on sale, it is also $30 on Amazon, but we were able to find it on sale for $16.59! Depending on when you buy it, you could definitely find it cheaper online than in the Disney store.

If you continue around World Showcase, there are lots of other items that are just like these. Before you decide to buy anything in World Showcase, you may want to check Amazon! If it’s special to you that you buy your souvenir in EPCOT, though, then we hope you have fun shopping!
