EPCOT is home to many exciting, delicious, and unique dining spots.

Just in World Showcase alone, you have restaurants you can experience in 11 different countries, each with authentic (as much as possible, at least) food matching the pavilion it’s inspired by. Not to mention the options at the front of the park, like Space 220! We’ll be honest: one of our reporters didn’t have a great experience with one particular EPCOT restaurant a few years ago but just tried it again and LOVED it!
Over in the Morocco Pavilion, you’ll find Spice Road Table. This is a table service meal that serves small Mediterranean plates and has a full bar to enjoy.

Our reporter usually loves grabbing the Pomegranate Chili Crispy Cauliflower for $11. This plant-based dish is a staple at this restaurant, and our reporter loves how savory and sweet it is. It’s not boring or bland in the slightest; the flavor goes all the way through the florets, and the breading makes them almost like Chinese fried chicken dishes (covered in sugar sauce, like General Tso’s chicken and orange chicken)!

Now, here’s a fun little bonus. The House-made Hummus Fries for $10 came highly recommended. But not from a fan. Not from a family member or a coworker. Princess Jasmine told us that they are Aladdin’s favorite, and we were NOT disappointed!

These fries are so flavorful, and then you dip them in the sauce, and you get such an intensity of flavor that isn’t often found in Disney World! Spice Road table lives up to its name — they do not hold back on the spices and we love it. That also means it’ll absolutely be too much for some people (and that goes for the restaurant as a whole), especially picky eaters or those on the “chicken finger diet,” but if you’re more adventurous, please don’t skip this one!

Overall, this place has now moved to the front of our minds in terms of places to grab a bite in the World Showcase! Despite being a table service restaurant, you might not have to make a reservation far in advance (walk-up availability is pretty common). Since it’s a small bites menu, the pricing is great for a table service restaurant, and it’s home to some of the nicest wait staff anywhere in Disney World! Don’t forget that you can take advantage of the boat from Canada that goes right to Morocco and treat yourself to this amazing journey down the spice road (yay for less walking)!

We went for our first time on Friday night, and OMG! What amazing food! My loved the fried calamari, cauliflower, hummus spreads and the sampler plate with chicken, lamb, and phillo with cheese. Outstanding! One more thing…we tried the mint iced tea (nonalcoholic) and we quickly fell in love with this refreshing drink. No harsh mint flavor, it was perfect! We will definitely go back again, and take friends!
