The Only Time I Break This Unspoken Breakfast Rule in Disney World

Earlier this year, we wrote a post about how people won’t shut up about breakfast. It’s me — I am “people”.

They call breakfast the most important meal of the day and I wholeheartedly agree! So much so that I make breakfast for dinner at least once a week. But at Disney World, that usually goes out the window — I’m too busy running around riding rides while the lines are short in the morning. There is ONE park, though, where the breakfast is too good NOT to work into my day…and I need to know if you agree!

Several people on the AllEars team pack a breakfast-to-go for the parks so that way they can maximize that precious morning park time. I get it! And I’m with them…except when I visit Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

I KNOW. This park is home to several of the most popular rides in all of Disney World that draw big lines. Don’t worry — I don’t go rope dropping breakfast spots. But after a ride on Slinky Dog Dash or Rise of the Resistance right at park opening time, I’m headed to one of two restaurants.

The first is Ronto Roasters in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. You’ll find many Disney fans saying the regular Ronto Wrap that is available during the day is the BEST — but I’m addicted to the breakfast version!

The Ronto Morning Wrap is made with eggs, grilled pork sausage, shredded cheddar, and peppercorn sauce on pita bread. In my opinion, it takes the best parts of the original (the pita, pork sausage, and peppercorn sauce) and adds a breakfast twist! Plus, for nearly $13 it’s super filling and can get me through several more hours in the park.

This is only served from 9AM to 11AM each day so I have a limited window to grab it. And honestly, near the end of that window, lines have usually started to grow long anyway.

Bonus points if you want to fully immerse yourself in the Star Wars universe: When you’re about to hop on Rise of the Resistance in the morning, place a Mobile Order on the My Disney Experience app for breakfast for 15-20 minutes from then. Once you’re done, it should be about time to go grab the food!

The second restaurant with a breakfast good enough to make me skip the rides is over in Toy Story Land. Yep, it’s Woody’s Lunch Box!

The culprit here is the Breakfast Bowl, of course. If you’ve ever had it, then you know what I’m talking about. It’s a “hearty portion” of potato barrels in smoked brisket country gravy, scrambled eggs, and a sprinkle of green onions.

This meal is under $9 so it’s my go-to when I’m on a tighter budget. I also often share with my group (if they are nice to me anyway)!

This one is a bit harder because the ordering window is smaller. You only have until 10:30AM to grab the morning items! This is another instance where Mobile Order can come in handy.
