A 'Guardians of the Galaxy' Dinner Show Is Coming To The Disney Treasure Cruise Ship!

If you’ve never been on a Disney Cruise, we think Disney’s newest ships are certainly giving you a reason to book one.

The more we learn about the Disney Treasure, for example, the more we want to cruise on that ship, which will have a Haunted Mansion-themed bar, a Coco-themed restaurant, a Zootopia-themed sweets shop, a Jungle Cruise bar, and more. However, we recently learned that something else AMAZING is coming to the ship, and this one is for you Marvel fans.

Disney has revealed that the Disney Treasure will have a Guardians of the Galaxy-themed dinner show. This will be an immersive dining experience called “Marvel Celebration of Heroes: Groot Remix.” A Groot-hosted dining experience? Sign us up!

The dinner show will follow Groot as he brings diners along for an on-screen quest to throw a surprise party for his dear friend, Rocket Raccoon. While you eat, though, you’ll be listening to an “awesome mix” of songs, while answering trivia questions to test your Marvel knowledge.

The new show will be offered during one of two nights at Worlds of Marvel, where you will also get to experience Avengers: Quantum Encounter, a dining experience that first debuted with the Disney Wish. So not only do you get one Marvel-themed dining experience on the Disney Treasure — you get two!

So what else can you expect aboard the Disney Treasure? In addition to what we’ve already mentioned, there’s the Grand Hall inspired by Aladdin, Periscope Pub inspired by 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea, Hei Hei Cafe (yep, Hei Hei is getting some love on this ship), Jade Cricket Cafe inspired by Mulan, a Moana show and much more. We even recently learned an Aristocats-themed lounge is coming to the ship!

The Disney Treasure will set sail on its maiden voyage on December 21st, 2024 for a seven-night Eastern Caribbean cruise. After that, it will offer a series of seven-night sailings to the Eastern and Western Caribbean from Port Canaveral, Florida.
