If you’re a big fan of the Disney Parks’ after-dark events and/or pin trading, you’ll want to check out this latest announcement!
Disney World hosts several after-hours events throughout the year that let guests experience the Disney Parks via special events closed to the general public. However, the fun isn’t always limited to the parks — sometimes After Dark events will be held at the Disney World hotels, as well. In fact, Disney just announced that a Disney After Dark event is coming to a Moderate Resort this September!
Per an official Disney World release, the 2024 Disney After Dark Pin Event will take place at Disney World on Saturday, September 14th, 2024 at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort Convention Center!
Disney describes the event as an opportunity to “explore a spellbinding pin collection that celebrates the wonder and excitement that happens once the sun sets at Disney Parks — where day transforms into night with an enchanting display of fireworks, light shows, parades and so much more!”
Check-in for the event will take place on Friday, September 13, 2024, one day before the event is held.
As of this writing, Disney has only billed the event as a “day of wonderful pin-trading activities” and not much else is known about what the event will specifically offer. Registration is also currently unavailable. We’ll update you with more information as soon as it’s made available.
The 2024 Disney After Dark Pin Event coincides with Magic Kingdom’s Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, which takes place on select dates from August 9th, 2024 through October 31st, 2024. If you’re in town between September 13th and September 15th for the party, this Disney After Dark Event might be something worth looking into!
