Disney’s Animal Kingdom is a Starbucks Park, the Others are Joffrey’s Parks. I Don’t Make the Rules.

I go to Disney World almost every day for work and there is one thing I do every single time I’m there.

Coffee, anyone?

I get coffee! The Disney parks are tiring and having that kick of caffeine is a total game changer. There are two main places to get coffee — Joffrey’s Coffee and Tea and Starbucks — and there is definitely a right way to get coffee in each park. I don’t make the rules.

Wondering how perfect a day can get when fueled by coffee? Check out this YouTube video!

We typically recommend Joffrey’s over Starbucks. The lines are shorter, you can’t get it everywhere else, and the coffee is super tasty. But, there is one park where I go to Starbucks every single time.

Cinderella Castle

Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios are Joffrey’s parks, but Disney’s Animal Kingdom? Animal Kingdom is a Starbucks park!

The Starbucks location in Animal Kingdom is called Creature Comforts and is the best Starbucks location in Disney World. Despite having the same number of registers and split line system, the line at Starbucks in Animal Kingdom is much shorter than the other parks.

Creature Comforts

Plus, where Joffrey’s is located around the park, the Starbucks location is right next to one of the best places in Disney World to enjoy a coffee — the Tree of Life trails.

Cut directly out of the Starbucks after getting your sip of choice and across the main walkway and you’ll find yourself in a delightful, quiet area by the water with the Tree of Life overhead.

Creature Comforts

Plus, Animal Kingdom offers the Flat White (as all Starbucks do) with a twist! Purchases of the Flat White benefit Cotton Top Tamarins, which you can see just outside of Creature Comforts too!

So, you don’t HAVE to get Starbucks in Animal Kingdom but in my opinion, you definitely should.

  1. Last September we walked into the AK Starbucks & there wasn’t one customer in there! I commented to the ladies on the till that that had to be a first! Especially as the day before at MK Starbucks you were only allowed to enter if someone else left the building!
