PHOTOS: Here’s What Disney’s Animal Kingdom Was Like Today

It’s been another glorious day at Disney’s Animal Kingdom in Walt Disney World!

The sun was shining, the animals were active, and we got our first look at a Halloween popcorn bucket. Take a walk with us as we explore one of Disney’s liveliest theme parks!

Walking in around 10AM we were reacquainted with our love for all things Animal Kingdom. Such a chill way to start off a day at the park!

As we were coming in, we happened to get this EPIC bird shot! The resident Macaws took flight and came right at us.

Ok, we’ll admit it, the Halloween popcorn bucket was one of our favorite parts of the day. This is Disney World’s first release of spooky popcorn buckets this year. We couldn’t wait to see it in person!

The line for Expedition Everest was only about 10 minutes long so we hopped on to catch some thrills and wave at the Yeti.

Then, a few of our favorite friends gave us a heartwarming greeting while cruising down the river.

We took a midday break to get an iced Flat White from Creature Comforts. Did you know this Starbucks location donates a portion of the proceeds of this drink to charity? The donations help the adorable cotton-top tamarins and their habitats. It’s delicious and it helps animals!

Kilimanjaro Safaris never disappoints with all the cutie pie Zebras…

…and majestic giraffes.

Towards the end of our safari, we got another look at the mysterious building that was recently constructed. It’s still unclear what this structure will be, but we’ll keep you updated!

We were feelin’ social so hopped over to Gorilla Exploration Fall to greet the big apes. We’re SO happy we did because there was a baby gorilla playing in the window (excuse us while we cry from happiness).

To finish off our animal explorations, we came across this adorable sleeping anteater. He decided to play a little peek-a-book with his tail. Our heart is still in a melted puddle outside of this exhibit.

We couldn’t leave without grabbing a lemonade Goofy Glacier slush and pose with our favorite Instagram wall!
