Now THIS Isn’t Something You See in Disney World Every Day!

It’s true that no two days at Disney World are exactly the same. Yep, kind of like a snowflake. A magical snowflake.

Cinderella Castle

Our favorite days, though, are the ones where we see EXTRA special things happen. The things so special that they almost seem bizarre. The other day, we saw one of these rare and bizarre situations, and we haven’t been able to stop thinking about it. So, put on your stompin’ boots and hold on to your hats, because we’re headin’ to Frontierland.

On December 28th, we were wandering through Frontierland in Magic Kingdom when we heard a familiar song. Being played on a fiddle. We’d recognize that song anywhere. It’s “The Devil Went Down to Georgia!”

A view of Frontierland.

But… no. It isn’t. Because we’re pretty sure that the song never mentioned Santa or reindeer. Yessiree, there was a live trio playing a CHRISTMAS PARODY of the iconic “The Devil Went Down to Georgia.”

As southerners, we couldn’t help but stand around and continue to listen. This was too good. 😆

Hmmm… now we’re in the mood for line dancing. New Year’s Eve plans, anyone? We’ll continue to keep you updated with more Disney news, so make sure to follow along for more so that you’re always in the loop.

  1. I saw these guys during dapper day(s) 3 weeks ago and I’m thrilled to have more live music performance at WDW again. They are fun and feel alive and wonderful.
