FIRST LOOK: Disney Shared a Preview of the Music for the NEW EPCOT Fireworks Show!

We’ve seen construction walls in and around EPCOT for a looooong time now, but the changes are finally wrapping up! Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind has been up and running for about a year, Journey of Water — Inspired by Moana is open, and Connections Eatery is serving up plenty of new eats! But what about the new fireworks show on World Showcase Lagoon?

Luminous: The Symphony of Us is set to debut on December 5th, 2023. Disney explained the show will feature “dazzling fireworks, fountains, lights, and music to connect us all.”

But let’s talk about one of our favorite parts of any Disney nighttime spectacular: the MUSIC! Luminous will feature a series of movements, and each movement will feature two original songs, as well as new arrangements of classic Disney songs. The show will start with an original song, “Heartbeat Symphony.” Disney shared a preview of this new song below — we just got chills!

Here’s a look at the songs that will be included in the show:

“You’ll Be in My Heart”
“Proud Corazón”
“You’ve Got a Friend in Me”
“Friend Like Me”
“So Close” (from Enchanted)
“When She Loved Me”
“Remember Me”
“Into the Unknown”
“I See the Light”

Towards the end of the show, be sure to look out for another original song called “Beating of Our Hearts.” According to Disney, the team worked with Emmy-nominated composer Pinar Toprak to make the score. Oh, and the show will feature both Sheléa and Katharine McPhee.
