Disney’s BoardWalk Inn is a deluxe resort on Disney World property that’s been undergoing an extensive refurbishment for quite some time now.

While the rooms have been refurbished, and now the BoardWalk itself is getting a facelift, there are still some final pieces of the puzzle that have to be put into place. One of the pieces, it appears, is the lobby decorations, which just got a fresh new look!
Listen, we wouldn’t say that there’s anything wrong with the way the lobby looked before, but we will admit that it was a little…tired. By that, we mean it LOOKED tired — the furniture was a little worse for wear.

The pieces matched the vintage-style vibe of the hotel, but they weren’t as pristine when they were first made because, well, that’s what happens to furniture!

We honestly didn’t realize just how nice a refresh would be UNTIL we saw the new pieces in their place! Especially now that parts of the lobby and hotel as a whole have been renovated, the older furniture wasn’t matching as well, but just LOOK at it now!

It’s gorgeous! We especially love the cohesive teal color throughout the design, and for those of you who are attached to them, the infamous nanny chairs are still around, too.

While the new furniture looks great, how does it FEEL? Well, we’re happy to report that it also looks extremely comfortable, which we find to be most important.

We think these new pieces really brighten up the lobby. If you’re planning a trip to Disney World soon and are thinking of staying here, know that most refurbishments on the actual hotel are now complete, but you will see construction happening around the BoardWalk area for at least the next few months.

We also just learned that Jellyrolls is closing, and Disney hasn’t announced what’s going to happen to the building that houses the piano bar yet.
