We’re just a few days from Halloween, but once that’s over, we’ll be thrown headlong into the holiday season!
Disney World doesn’t shy away from being all “BAM! Christmas!” as soon as Halloween is over, and this year will be no exception. We can’t wait to check out the themed parties, the seasonal treats, and of course, the Festival of the Holidays. And if you’re particularly interested in that last one, we’ve got some news for you!
Each year, EPCOT hosts a Candlelight Processional at the Festival of the Holidays. Located in the American Adventure Pavilion, this show features a choir of Cast Members, a large orchestra, and a celebrity narrator who tells the story of Christmas. The shows are incredibly popular, and one of the best ways to secure a spot for your desired showtime is to book a dining package.
Each night that the Candlelight Processional takes place, there are multiple showtimes. However, seating is limited. If you book a Candlelight Processional Dining Package in EPCOT for the day of your visit, you’ll be guaranteed a seat during your chosen showtime.
Reservations for this experience are available now on the Disney World website, and they’re going FAST, especially for the popular narrators. Here’s the current list of participating restaurants:
- Akershus Royal Banquet Hall
- Biergarten Restaurant
- Coral Reef Restaurant
- Garden Grill Restaurant
- Le Cellier Steakhouse
- Regal Eagle Smokehouse (same-day dining packages only — no reservations available)
- Rose & Crown Dining Room
- Spice Road Table
Prices vary and range from $41 per adult (Regal Eagle) to $83 per adult (Akershus dinner). When you book a package, you’ll select a reservation time for your meal. After you dine, you’ll be given a Candlelight Seating badge at the restaurant that designates the date and showtime that you have reserved. With that badge, you’ll be able to enter the America Gardens Theatre through the Dining Package queue before the show.
As we mentioned above, these packages book up quickly, so hurry and snag one if you’re heading to the park for the Festival of the Holidays! We’ll keep you updated with all the festival excitement, so stay tuned to AllEars.
