August 30th Is an IMPORTANT Day for the Disney Treasure Cruise Ship — Here’s Why

Did you know that Disney Cruise Line has a new cruise ship on the way?

In 2024, the Disney Treasure will be joining the fleet of Disney Cruise Line ships. While we’ve seen a sneak peek of the construction and Minnie’s new captain uniform, it’s almost time to see a NEW LOOK at the ship!

Disney recently announced that they would debut a new look at the Disney Treasure in their grand virtual reveal of the ship on August 30th at 11AM.

This reveal will give us a peek at the dining options, immersive entertainment, and unique spaces that will be on board. The ship itself represents “Walt Disney’s lifelong love of adventure” and is the sister ship to the Disney Wish. It is inspired by the “mystery and grandeur of a gilded palace” and will take inspiration from Asia, Africa, and Aladdin’s Agrabah.

Disney has also already shared with us a rendering of what some of the statues on board will look like, so we can’t wait to see these in the virtual tour. Disney even gave us a look at the ship’s keel-laying ceremony.

Minnie Mouse will also be at the helm of this ship, and both she and Mickey are getting new costumes!

We’re hoping to learn more about the restaurants and entertainment onboard the ship. Will we get some adventurous new foods to try? Meet some epic characters? We’ll have to wait and see!
