It’s no secret that construction is going on all over Disney World right now.
Multiple Disney hotels have construction underway, and the parks have plenty of their own going on as well. But some projects are getting completed, leading to the reopening of perks and spots in their updated and refreshed forms. That’s just what’s happened at Disney’s Boardwalk Inn, where one big perk is back!
After being closed for a while earlier in the year, the Concierge Lounge is open at Disney’s Boardwalk Inn. As a reminder, the Concierge Lounge is only available for those who book concierge/club-level rooms at the resort.
In the lounge, guests will find complimentary snacks and drinks throughout the day (including some alcoholic ones at times). Though the cost of a club-level room can be quite high, this is a nice perk that can help those guests save a bit of cash they’d normally spend elsewhere on food.
The reopened concierge lounge features cozy blue chairs you can sit in, as well as a gorgeous chandelier that lights the room.
But let’s talk about the snacks! This lounge has quite a few different options to choose from for drinks and eats including tea, coffee, sodas, water, vegetables, fruit, some dips, and more.
Again, keep in mind that the lounge is only available for those in the Club Level/Concierge Level so you can’t just make your way over here to snack on these items. Typically, in these types of lounges in Disney World, you’ll find a continental breakfast in the mornings, along with lighter snacks, cheese, wine, sweets, and other little goodies during the day.
Those snacks might not constitute a full meal for some, while others might find them to be substantial enough to at least skip one meal for the day and not have to pay for it at other spots. Plus, being able to grab bottled drinks and snacks to bring into the park with you at no extra cost is a MAJOR perk.
While this spot has reopened, construction isn’t over at this resort. There’s still a LOT going on with nearby spots like Trattoria al Forno (currently closed for a short period of time), ongoing work at The Cake Bake Shop, and more. Plus there are newly renovated rooms at the hotel to check out. As always, stay tuned to AllEars for all the latest Disney news.
