A Disney World Restaurant is Now Closed Temporarily

If you’re heading to Disney World, there’s one thing you need to do before your trip to avoid disappointment!

Disney often closes rides, pools, portions of hotels, or even sometimes restaurants for refurbishments, allowing time for them to update the spaces and make sure things are in top condition for guests. But these closures can come as a surprise if you don’t check the list of refurbishments on the Disney World calendar before your trip! So today, we’re here to warn you about a closure that’s currently happening at a Disney hotel.

Beginning June 11th, Trattoria al Forno is temporarily closed for construction at Disney’s BoardWalk. This restaurant typically serves Italian-style cuisine like pizza and pasta.

The closure will last from June 11th-17th and during that time, a limited breakfast menu will still be available for those with reservations. If you’re having breakfast, you’ll be eating next door in the dining room for Flying Fish.

In the past, Trattoria al Forno hosted a character breakfast known as the “Bon Voyage Adventure Breakfast” with characters from Tangled and The Little Mermaid, though that experience has not returned since the parks reopened in 2020.
