All the walking…all the waiting…all the standing…you’re on your feet ALL day at Disney World!

Cinderella Castle

Finding the right shoes for your Disney World vacation is harder than people realize. Let us help you take one more decision off your plate, especially since we’ve been to the park countless times in numerous pairs of shoes. Out of all the ones we’ve worn, we’re recommending these shoes to you!

Introducing to you the perfect Disney World shoes, the HOKA Women’s Clifton 10 Shoes! We have these in orange and white, while Amazon has these in black and rose gold, as well as cosmic grey and stardust. Same shoe, different colors.

HOKA Clifton 10s

These are ABSOLUTELY worth the money! As die-hard flip-flop wearers, even we couldn’t resist these. Practically anyone will find these super comfy. The shoes are quite bouncy when you step, so there’s tons of support at the heel, and they’re also a great fit for those with high arches.

The backs of the Rincon 4s, for example, bothered the back of our heels, but the Clifton 10s sure didn’t. It’s really hard to find fault with these! Although the price is a little steeper than that of other pairs of shoes. It’s really what you’re willing to spend on quality. We think these are definitely needed for your trip. It made ours much easier, and we’ll more than likely start working them into our regular rotation of wear.

The shoes you wear in the theme parks matter

These babies are built for long-term wear. While we’ve been able to break them in, they don’t look worn or sunken in and still keep a firm look about them. They’re still springy to the heels and soles of your feet when you step, but not in a way that makes you feel like you’re going to leap into the air with each step. It’s just a nice, gentle give that greets your foot as you walk normally.

Most shoes that are bigger in size (thicker heeled) come off really bulky, but that evens out when you step because it’s a vertical bulk instead of a horizontal one that’s meant to cushion instead of widen when worn. We can’t recommend these enough!

We’re not stopping there, because we have to show you these Brooks Women’s Ghost 17 Neutral Running Shoes! We believe these are typically marketed for runners, but honestly, these work for anyone looking for a well-fitting and comfortable shoe that can support long walks and time on their feet.

They’re pricey, there’s no denying that, but they DO deliver on the promise of comfort and ease on your feet. The key features of the product are the balanced feel to the shoes, the blend of soft and dynamic cushioning that offers a smooth feeling with each step, and the comfy grip around the toe/front of the shoe that hugs but doesn’t squeeze too tightly. The cushioning makes you more bouncy and feel like you’re gliding as you step, rather than sending a full-on impact to your body with each foot drop

They’re a little heavy at first to get used to being new, but after you walk around in them, you can start to feel it conform around your foot and give you that extra cushion and bounce in the heel where you’ll need it most. That’s all thanks to the nitrogen-infused cushioning in the heel and forefoot. The air mesh around the upper part of the shoe has been redesigned with a kickback collar and a breathable structure, so you’re not super sweaty just from walking around in them.

If you’re not someone who likes a firm grip around your foot, you might want to err on the safe side and size up a half or full size. These have extra cushioning everywhere, including the inside of the heel, which might feel a little restrictive if you’re not used to having your foot snuggly in your shoe.

These 100% made our trip easier. You’ve made a huge investment in where you’ve chosen to vacation, and it would be a shame to feel like you’ve wasted it all dealing with foot problems early on in your vacation, as opposed to spending that same time creating memories!

They’re not as comfortable as the HOKA Clifton 10s in our opinion, but they’re DARN close! These are a clear 5 out of 5 shoes.

Lastly, check out these Avia Women’s Athletic Jumbo Lite Runners. These are perfect for women and teen girls who have that Magic Kingdom day planned for this year. They are 100% worth the money, especially with the price they’re sitting at right now. They’re basic running shoes, but have a nice slim fit to them and a cushioned heel for running support.

Walking around Disney is no joke

The comfort of the shoes and how they conform to your feet after you’ve worn them awhile have to be the biggest pros. They’re not a pair of shoes we would recommend taking straight from purchase on vacation — we’d advise that you wear them in a bit before you make your way to EPCOT.

These are so comfy!

The toe is pretty narrow, which might be our only con with the shoe. If you don’t like that, these might not feel like the best fit for you. However, we think these are a must for a Disney World trip, and they definitely made walking around easier for us.

Power pose

When comparing to the HOKA Clifton 10s, they are similar comfort-wise. The difference falls in a few quality nitpicks, but mostly the price! When looking at what we want and our expectations, these shoes totally exceeded them — and for such a cheap pair of shoes.

    1. I got myself some Vessi high tops along with some good waterproof socks, and it was amazing. The shoes are comfortable, easy to put on, and somehow breathe while being waterproof at the same time.
