For many, Disney’s Animal Kingdom is a favorite park.

Not only is the park beautiful, but it’s also where visitors can get to see a variety of animals, go back into time to chase dinosaurs, and even see what might be one of the best shows on Disney World property. Now, one of the park’s attractions is available again after a lengthy refurbishment.

The Boneyard is a playground for kids in DinoLand, U.S.A. designed to look like a dig site. Here, kids can enjoy slides, walking across rope bridges, climbing through caves, and digging for dinosaur fossils. It closed on May 1st, 2023, but now, over a month later, it’s open again.

Kids can currently play in the area from 9AM-7PM, but those hours could change, so we recommend checking the My Disney Experience app if you’re planning on spending time there.

The Boneyard is one of several attractions in DinoLand. Guests can also take a trip through history to come face to face with Dinosaurs on Dinosaur or spin around in circles on the Dumbo-like TriceraTop Spin. You’ll also find a few quick-service food and snack locations in the area, as well as some Dino-themed carnival games.

We’ll keep an eye out for other closings and reopenings in Disney World, so be sure to check back with AllEars again soon.
