A Restaurant Unexpectedly Closed in Disney's Hollywood Studios

Unexpected things happen all the time in Disney World.

Sometimes those things are good, like surprise characters turning up in the parks. Sometimes those things are bad, like when rides close or bad weather rears its ugly head. Today’s unexpected happening in Disney World, though, concerns a popular restaurant in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

If you happen to be hungry at Hollywood Studios today, you won’t be able to satisfy that hunger at BaseLine Tap House. That’s because this restaurant has unexpectedly closed.

According to a Cast Member we spoke with, the restaurant was having technical glitches today that prevented it from being open and allowing people inside the restaurant. However, the hope is that the restaurant will reopen sometime later today.

So if you’re in Hollywood Studios today, you’ll have to make alternative arrangements for lunch if BaseLine Tap House was on your list for food. You can check again around dinner to see if the restaurant has reopened. In the meantime, there are still other food options available in Hollywood Studios, like the Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge or ABC Commissary.
