Looking for hidden details in Disney World is a ton of fun!
Disney does an amazing job at hiding some tiny details all throughout the parks that only the true experts will be able to spot and recognize. Whether you are scouring the parks for hidden Mickeys or playing “I Spy” in a unique gift shop, you could spend all day looking for these little secrets. We noticed a fun little secret hiding in a Magic Kingdom spot during a recent trip and we had to share it with you!
Liberty Square in Magic Kingdom is no stranger to hidden details. From slanted shutters to building numbers that secretly stand for years in American history, the special touches in this part of the park are really unique.
You may already know about the Paul Revere reference in the windows (one if by land, two if by sea), but have you ever noticed a TINY detail hiding in the window of Liberty Tree Tavern?
We were strolling by it this week when we saw a little character peeking out at us!
Do YOU know who this little friend is?
At first, you might think this looks like Jaq from Cinderella, but Disney history experts will recognize this little buddy as the mouse from Disney’s Ben and Me short. Ben and Me is a special cartoon featurette that was released back in 1953. It follows Amos, who according to D23 is a “poor, little church mouse” that comes to live with Benjamin Franklin.
According to the short, it’s actually through Amos’ suggestions that Franklin got some of his ideas for his most incredible inventions.
This isn’t the first time we’ve seen this little guy in Disney World either. In the past, he has been featured in the American Adventure pavilion through some chalk art made for the EPCOT Festival of the Arts!
Have you noticed this little guy before? Let us know in the comments below! Sometimes little things or details can move around or change, so be sure to look for him on your next visit and see if he’s still peeking through the window.
We’ll continue to bring you all the latest Disney news, so stay tuned to AllEars for more.
