It’s time for some BIG Disney Cruise Line news!
We’ve been sharing all the latest news regarding Disney’s newest cruise ship, the Disney Treasure, and even showing off a new contest where you can enter to win a free cruise for you and your closest friends. If you’ve been planning on taking a DCL vacation and are a big fan of Encanto or Soul, we’ve got some great news!
Disney Cruise Line has announced that the Disney Magic cruise ship will now feature new Encanto and Soul-themed entertainment on board!
Guests will be able to experience family-friendly entertainment through a new immersive experience known as “An Encanto Celebration.” The experience will combine music, crafts, and storytelling, as well as a meet and greet with Mirabel and Bruno.
While onboard the Disney Magic, guests will also be able to participate in an Encanto sing-along, create flower and butterfly crafts, and sip on a selection of local Colombian beers, cocktails, and sodas, plus a few film-inspired mocktails.
Guests can also visit the new Soul Cat Lounge, which is modeled after Joe Gardner’s favorite music spot in the film, the Half Note Lounge. This space offers jazz music, a dance floor, and some subtle nods to the beloved film. Look out for Joe’s hat during your visit!
For the adults on the ship, the Soul Cat Lounge serves a range of drinks, including Manhattans, martinis, native brews, and cocktails made with New York spirits. If you’re looking for a non-alcoholic drink, try one of the mocktails, specialty coffees, or sodas! For a light snack, give the zeppoles a try.
The ship’s concierge spaces on board have also been upgraded! Now, look out for some tropical Moana theming in the concierge lounge. Plus, an additional outdoor seating deck has been added, giving guests even more room to relax. Finally, thanks to a major refurbishment, all concierge suites have been upgraded with new designs, fixtures, furniture, art, and more!
The Disney Magic is currently sailing from San Juan, Puerto Rico, but starting on May 24th, the ship will return to Miami for cruises to The Bahamas and the Caribbean. As always, stay tuned to AllEars for all the latest Disney news!
