Disney World’s TRON Lightcycle / Run Virtual Queue Filled in SECONDS

We’ve been waiting a LONG time for TRON Lightcycle / Run to open in Disney World, and now the day is finally here…kind of!

The TRON coaster is currently having a “soft opening” before its official first day on April 4th, and we’re in Magic Kingdom to check everything out. The ride is operating on a virtual queue system (just like it will once it opens), but we’re here to wish you GOOD LUCK in getting in the queue!

There are two virtual queue drop times for TRON Lightcycle / Run. The first happens at 7AM, and guests are required to have a Park Pass reservation for Magic Kingdom to secure a spot in this queue. During that drop this morning, availability was gone in SECONDS. And no, not 30 or 60 seconds…more like 1-3 seconds total!

Thankfully, there is a second virtual queue drop time at 1PM for guests who are already INSIDE of Magic Kingdom. We’ll update you with how the afternoon drop goes after the chaos of this morning.

You may have to wait until 1PM!

And over at the coaster, the courtyard remains closed to anyone who doesn’t have a boarding group or an Individual Lightning Lane for TRON Lightcycle / Run. So no open exploring yet!

We’ll keep you updated with any more TRON Lightcycle / Run soft opening news, so stay tuned to AllEars! We’re ready to enter the grid again!
