PHOTOS: A Popular Ride Has CHANGED in Magic Kingdom

Exciting changes are coming to Disney World!

EPCOT is undergoing a massive transformation, some of the resorts are being renovated, and Magic Kingdom is about to get a new thrill ride. But, one classic Magic Kingdom attraction has just been updated in the meantime.

Last year, Disney updated “it’s a small world” at Disneyland Park to include two new dolls in wheelchairs, and now it looks like a similar change has come to Disney World!

We decided to hop on this classic ride and check it out for ourselves. You’ll find the update at the very beginning of the attraction, over on your right.

We got a closer look as we passed by.

When Disney first made this update in Disneyland, Disney Imagineer Kim Irvine said, “We are always looking to enhance our attractions with not just fun things, but meaningful things as well. And keeping timely with what’s happening in the world, and especially, you know, making things new.” She also said, “I think that is definitely something that the original Imagineers would embrace and think was wonderful that we were looking at things like this.”
