The Scavenger Hunt You Don't Want to Miss in Disney World

You may think that EPCOT festivals are mostly about trying out different dishes at all of the food booths.

While that is a large portion of the experience, each festival has its own unique activities to take part in as well! If you’re looking for something else to do at the fest, a scavenger hunt might be just the thing to get them engaged.

The 2023 Flower and Garden Festival, which runs from March 1st until July 5th, 2023, has its own take on the classic scavenger hunt that is fun for all ages. Spike’s Pollen-Nation Exploration Scavenger Hunt has been a Flower and Garden staple. This hunt takes you around the World Showcase as you search for Spike the Bee amongst the greenery!

To take part in the scavenger hunt head over to Disney Traders or World Traveler to purchase a playing board for $9.99. Each Spike can be found with a different flower or plant. The different location hints are listed on the board, and when you find a Spike, you’ll place the correct flower sticker on the corresponding location to keep track!

There are 12 different Spike statues to spot hidden throughout the park. Focus on the scavenger hunt and search each location or keep an eye out for him as you eat your way through the different food kitchens!

When you’ve completed the hunt, return to either Disney Traders or World Traveler to collect a prize for all of your hard work! Last year, the prize was a cute Flower and Garden-themed food container, and guests could choose from a variety of different character designs.

This year, the prize is either a plate or a cup! You can choose one per completed scavenger hunt board.

If you’d like to save your money for food, you can also just do the scavenger hunt and keep track of yourself to see how many Spikes you can find around the park, although you won’t be able to pick a prize.
