Sometimes things go awry in Disney World.
Rides break down constantly, fire alarms go off, power outages can shut down half of the park — Disney World may feel like a separate world, but it still deals with real world issues. Last night, a Disney World restaurant experienced a kitchen fire and it has impacted the menu today.
We stopped by Disney’s Beach Club Resort where we spoke with a Cast Member who confirmed there is a limited menu at Beaches & Cream due to a fire in the kitchen.
The Cast Member said that there is currently no hot food available at the restaurant. Beaches & Cream has burgers, hot sandwiches, and soup, so these items are not currently available. Here is a look at the modified menu.
Cast Members did not confirm when the kitchen would be back to normal or how extensive the fire damage was, but we’ll keep checking back to let you know when the full menu returns.
If you had a reservation at Beaches & Cream and wanted to cancel, Disney World recently updated its cancelation policy which allows you to cancel your dining reservations two hours in advance without paying a fee.
